Built on Grand Avenue, Milwaukee's anvenue of mansions, the Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion was completed in 1892. The mansion boasts 37 rooms, 14 fireplaces and 12 bathrooms. It is open Tuesday through Saturday weekly, and it is also available for reception, banquet and business meeting rentals.

Historic Grain Exchange Room
During the 1860s, Milwaukee exported more wheat than any other port in the world. In this tradition, Edward Townsend Mix designed this grain trading room in 1879. The Grain Exchange Room is a 10,000 square-foot room that was used in the trading of wheat, with three-story high columns and a painted ceiling of Wisconsin wildflowers.

North Water Street and East Wisconsin Ave Historic Building
Located at this private address is one of the few remaining ironclad buildings in the USA. The building was designed by George H. Johnson, and built between 1860 and 1861. The metal facade was imported by ship and installed during the civil war. Although private property, visitors are welcome to view the building and take pictures.
