The annual Christmas in the Ward festival presents numerous events throughout the Historic Third Ward district. Features include musical performances, horse-drawn carriages, fireworks and a appearance from Santa. Festival events run on Friday from 5-8pm and Saturday from 11-4pm.

This annual 11-day music festival takes place in downtown Milwaukee along the shores of Lake Michigan. Summerfest originated in 1968, and has grown exceedingly larger with each passing year. The first week of July is marked by this gathering of hundreds of chart-topper legends including artists from nearly every genre including Janet Jackson, Metallica, Clint Black and Paul Simon. In 1999 Summerfest was declared the "Biggest Music Festival" by the Guiness Book of World Records. Comedy has also been added to this venue in recent years, including big names such as Billy Crystal and Weird Al Yankovic.
